YOUSUF
This story is about the prophet Yousuf
The story started when Yaakoub (a.a) the prophet married two sisters . he had ten sons from the first wife and tow from the second wife the youngest son was from her ,and his name is Yousuf (a.a) .he was a very rational, clever, sane, and wise guy. In addition to that the GOD gave him two thirds of grace and beauty in the world .
His brothers were all jealous of him , Because of that once , they wanted to get rid of him , So they deceived their father to let Yousuf (a.a) go hunting with them . Their father was reluctant, especially after what Yousuf (a.a) told him about his dream : ( eleven stars and the sun with the moon were kneeling down to him ) .
Yaakoub (a.a) who knew the meaning of the dream ,he was afraid , But the brothers promised him that they would take care of Yousuf (a.a) , so he let Yousuf go with them ,, Far away from him they pushed him into one pit (cistern) then they took his shirt and they colored it with sheep’s blood , and then they went back to their father to tell him that : (the wolf ate Yousuf ) …..
AL-Aziz of Egypt found him when he was traveling between Egypt and Palestine so he took Yousuf to his wife to bring him up in the castle because his wife couldn’t have children …
Yaakoub (a.a) who was living in Palestine, didn’t believe that Yousuf (a.a) had died .so he was cried for many years while Yousuf (a.a) is in an unknown place, he lost his eyesight …
As we said , Yousuf(a.a) is the most handsome man ever , so AL-Aziz’s wife loved him and she tried to seduce him , but he was a faithful person so she started to plot against to him .but to cover up the plot they put Yousuf(a.a) in the jail .
The jail have lots of stories Yousuf(a.a) was so patient forbearing and tolerant guy there and as same as his father he knew very well in dreams and all the dreams he translated it to his jail mate was true .
One day AL-Aziz had a dream, and they told him that only Yousuf (a.a) could explain it to you. Yousuf (a.a) came and AL-Aziz told him the dream: (I sew seven sick cows, and seven fat healthy cows, eating seven spikes full of wheat and seven unhealthy ones). Yousuf (a.a) said: (there will be seven good years of yield, you have to save some food and wheat for the other poor years)
AL-Aziz was so pleased with Yousuf (a.a), so he asked him what kind of job would you like to do in the government?!! “Yousuf (a.a) replied :” let me be as a finance minister because I think it will be the best job for me especially after your dream...”
The seven years came ,Yousuf (a.a) decided that they have to save lots of money and food for the other seven years , when the seven poor years arrived the public have to come to the castle to take their portion from the save stock , people started to come from every where to Egypt .
Suddenly; eleven brothers came to also take their part , Yousuf (a.a) recognized them but they didn’t recognize him…
He asked them: _ “how many brothers you still have? “
They replied “still one brother his name is Penjamin and he is a small boy.”
Yousuf said “But you can’t take your part if your brother not here.”
They went back to Palestine to bring him . but their father was reluctant , eventually they persuaded him to let Benjamin go with them , when they arrived to Egypt , Yousuf (a. a) told Benjamin the whole story, then he let him stay and he send the other brothers back to Palestine to call the father and the whole family to come Egypt (the eleven sons the father and the mother was kneeling down to Yousuf, as same as the dream)…
